HELP!!

I am in need of a organizational guru! Any takers!?! This is a post that I need ANYBODY with an idea or opinion to post on. I am trying to get organized and tackled our full bath today. I felt like I was doing good until I moved to this portion...

I know, this is just a disaster.
We are going to be remodeling this bathroom this summer/fall. So I want something that will work when we remodel as well. We will be have open shelves there. Hopefully somewhere else for the towels as well.

So I need help BAD!!!! Please I need your ideas!! Or even better share pictures on our facebook wall of your organized bathrooms!

  1. Open topped storage baskets/containers where you can group all like items together, and still have easy access to them. Then you can see where things are, and it's not a hassle to get to them.

  2. I agree with the open topped baskets, I do that. Group like items or allow each person a basket. Are these all items you use on a daily basis or are some "stock" items?

Or I have a little wire rack screwed into the wall right by my sink, this is where I keep the daily items I use such as, deodorant, body spray, hair styling products, etc. If it doesn't fit, I don't use it, lol! It's a double rack, so the second one is for hubby.

Any items I don't use on a daily basis, are in my cupboard in rows by type of product, like spare toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap. I like to keep a small stock of my favorite products when they go on sale and I have a coupon.

For the towels, when we had limited space, I used to roll my towels. Fold the towel from short end to short end, twice, so it's like a hamburger. Then I roll from side to side, like when you roll clothes to pack a suitcase. When you only have a skinny cubby for towels, it looks neat to put the folded edge of the towel facing outward so the uneven edges aren't visible.

  3. Agree with both previous posts. Use open top baskets for the smaller gadgets/bottles.

    Roll your towels.

And I saw this on Pinterest...Use an over-the-door shoe rack for larger bottles and appliances(hair spray, hair gel, mouse, lotion, curling iron, hair dryer, etc). Not sure if this is feasible with the kiddos but it's an idea.

    1. Thanks! I am for sure going with the open basket idea! I like the other ideas as well, but they may be more work to keep together!
