top tuesdays.4

I am well aware that it is Monday night, but, I am excited for #10!

one:
I am loving this inspirational graphics I am finding on pinterest lately.
two:
I think I have managed this. Which also brings me to the point that I have an amazing husband.
three:
All you moms out there understand.

four:
I can't wait to purchase some decent clothes for the winter months. I love the simplicity of this outfit though.

five:
I really love trouser pants. I must get a pair

six:
These look like a piece of heaven. My two favorite things bundled into one delicious treat. Someone else has got to be with me on this!?! Cookie Dough Brownies:) hey mom... you can click the name for the recipe;)

seven:
This movie is supposed to be funny and I wanna see it. JD must fine time to rent this for me...he's not busy or anything(joke!)

eight:
beautiful nieces<3
Can't wait to get my hands on them again and for the first time.
nine:
I wanted to share my 2 favorite movies.
This is the funniest movie ever. No lie in high school I watched it on the bus to EVERY softball game and laughed everytime. And yes I do quote the whole movie. . . now if I could just get it back from my siblings.

This actually was my big sister's movie, she didn't watch it I loved it and am on my second DVD. The other one got all scratched. Sports & love all wrapped into one perfect movie.

ten:
Gatlyn is now 1 whole pound and 12 ounces. If you don't remember from my previous post. Jess and I were able to see a 1lb 12oz baby when we visited the NICU. This just made my heart feel better knowing he was ALREADY that! He is still tucked away in there with a whole 1cm of fluid (average fluid about is 15-30cm... so we are struggling there.) Basically just knowing that another baby his size was doing fine in the NICU makes me feel better. This is a great start to my week and also a great pick me up to keep on truckin'.
FUNNY NOTE: During the ultra sound the lady said, "Oh look there is his little hand. And. . . I can't see the gender because his hand is right over it. Well, I guess we know it's a he then!"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA--made me and jess crack up.haha
Also, I would post a picture of him but you can barely see him because I don't have fluid therefore it is just a mumbled jumbled mess in there.

182 days

182 days also known as 26 weeks.

Yes sir, we made it yet another week. this makes it 6 weeks/48 days on bed rest.

Which leads me to the count down 8 weeks left. If you are calculating it, yes, that means next week(27 weeks) we will be half way to having Gatlyn here.

Playing outside:) this was a couple weeks ago.

Smarties for my Smarty Pants girls.

newest crochet project that I finished.
Trying to take a good pic... this is the one she told me to put on my blog.

SEE YA!
Keeps me semi-sane!

And the projects I will be working on this week will be. Creating Ruthie a cute hat as well as Gatlyn. Mom and I are going to make a crochet blanket/quilt thing. We will both be making squares and then we will hook them all together. I am excited mom is starting to crochet! I will be finishing up my present for hubster as well.

Baby brother's 19th birthday is today! I will tell you a little about baby bro: he is a lover, caring and fun to be around(most of the time). Baby bro aka Owen and I have always been super close. I would be the one to calm him down if he was upset and stick up for him no matter what. He is the best uncle ever too, he would do anything for his nieces. He has came up and seen me a few times and even took me home the first time I got to leave the hospital. I would do anything for him and I am sure he is the same.  He has always brought pizza over and hung out with Jess and me before the kids. Side note he always buys the biggest presents. Practically everything he gets the girls has to be put in the garage. Not that the presents matter but I think he thinks size matters;) Happy Birthday baby brother.
Also as you can see from this pic... he is a lot taller than all of us women.
Jamie, Owen, Alexis and Mama Schrock
Just so you know I am the tallest sister, I think Jamie must be on a rock.

recap of a decent week

STELLA MARIE KRENZ HAS ENTERED THIS CRAZY WORLD=]

Ok, so I started this post earlier in the day. . .and now I am in a totally different mind set. Therefore I deleted most everything I had typed. So my mother brought the girls to the hospital and Jess came after work tonight. So I got to see my mommy and talk to her about Stella which made me happy. On top of that the girls were in a GREAT mood. Except their allergies are starting to act up. BOO! We took them down to the play center after mom left and I ate a delicious meal.

Tonight the meal included [MANY carbs of course] noodles w/ parm, garlic bread, homemade rolls(courtesy of Gma B), BUSCH'S baked beans(original of course) and a Dr. Pepper on the rocks. For all those who know my love for bread/noodles could just imagine how happy I was!

After we were done playing downstairs it was time to return to my room. So Daddy-O loaded up the girlies on my lap and back upstairs he pushed. (He must get a great workout when he is here) We ate some snacks and then it was time for them to head home. Which surprisingly isn't that traumatic (I am more than happy about this). But, after they leave I get settled back in what do I find...yup...Jess' keys. So I try to call and get no answer. I sit for a second was like, "What the heck, might as well go on another ride." I hopped back in the wheel chair and started peddling away. And yes my nurses knew.

On the way down I met a nice couple who were in a similar situation. I talked to them for like 5 minutes. It was nice to have a conversation with somebody else. Who knows maybe we will become hospital buddies. Although. . . the chances of us being up and around at the same time again are slim! O well. Anyway it was nice. Back to the mission at hand. I am trying to get ahold of the JMan for along time and he isn't answering. Finally he does and I don't have have good service and get cut off. I am waiting by the elevators where I believe he would be coming from to get his keys(assuming he realized he forgot the) After 5 minutes of waiting I get another call and have service. He says he had my set of keys in the car so he was all set. I was like "AWWW MAN... you mean I just peddled around like a fool for nothing. O well, back to my room I go." Needless to say I broke a sweat and got a little out of breath(pathetic yes)

Maybe not as entertaining now that I type it. It got me all hyped up though.

I wish I had pics to post...

I ordered the stuff for the girl's halloween costumes:) Won't arrive at home for like a week and half so I will have it in about 2 weeks. This excites me.

ALSO...Dr. said I should have another ultra sound next Wednesday possibly. PRAY he is looking good and growing great.

And I am fully aware I call Jess a million different things in here. But I do it in real life so might as well on here. I do it to make him be like, why are you calling me that.

Another thing, Jess has been informing that I am not that funny. So if you don't get my humor I am sorry, you will deal with it just as he does. Just be glad you don't have to sit and listen to be LOUD laugh everytime I think I am funny. Because this is no lie I mock or make comments at the TV all day and laugh at myself. WOODtv 8 does this to me I swear. Did anybody else see that they are casting the news from the GRAM and have a gate outside and had like 10 people watching them record. The news guy was out there pretending to be Al Roker or something. If you haven't seen try to catch the channel 8 news at 11 tonight. Seriously.

The Office came up slightly disappointing last night in my books. Other than the fact that Andy said "Chins up" to Pam who was just crying about how fat she was. HAHA. My new favorite by far was Whitney. Needless to say Thursday nights will be a great night of tellie each week.

Mom found this on Pinterest...am I right?!?!
God is Love...Rev Run (I had to sorry. loved that show-btw i was also laughing while i typed this because i thought it would be kinda funny...i know you feel bad for jess for real now)

top tuesdays.3

Ten things that make me think, smile, and more thankful this past week. Warning this is a picture loaded post.

ONE:

TWO:
My wonderful mother and baby sister got my ladies pictures taken to surprise Jess and myself. I was so happy and glad that Emily Goodemoot captured my daughter's spirits and personalities in each picture. She did wonderful work and I cherish these pictures! I know I shared a couple in a earlier post and here are a few more.

Those are some cute kids.

THREE:
The same photographer took little sister's wedding pictures. Which were gorgeous and make me want her to get married all over again. Minus the 2 crazy weeks before hand;)

FOUR:
A little something i am working on for my hubs.

FIVE:
All of the TV shows that are starting

SIX:
I got a manicure and pedicure right here in my bed:)

SEVEN:
Raebug is talking more and more each time I see her.

EIGHT:
Mom and Andi picked me up more yarn. I have made Gatlyn a hat and the girls a hat as well. Then Andi also picked out yarn for a blanket-So i already went through the yarn she got, now, i need more for her blanket.

NINE:
Stella made her arrival this afternoon!!

TEN:
Baby brother came to visit this afternoon too, had a lot of good laughs=]

he's kind of a big deal.

So Gatlyn is now 25 weeks! What a fighter, inspiration, and blessing. This boy isn't giving up and of course I won't. I don't really like to lose and apparently Gatlyn is the same way. haha-I am full of wise cracks and stuff today. You should all feel bad for Jess when he get here tonight;)

I have never taken weekly pictures with my pregnancies. I think this will give the people who normally would see my progress a chance to see what Gatlyn is doing to mama=]

25 weeks means:::
  • I had my glucose test... passed with "flying colors".
  • He should be over a pound now.
  • Could be getting a little fat on him...probably not much though b/c my babies have always been small. (kinda alien like)
  • I have been on bed rest for 5 weeks...
  • I should be getting another ultra sound within the next 2 weeks.
  • A baby without any fluid lost at this point would have a 50% chance of survival. I don't really know where this puts Gatlyn but his chances are getting better:)
Today has been a wonderful day. Got to spend some time with my little ladies and Jess. Then had some family visitors as well. BONUS: Jess is coming back tonight. Which means that I will attempt to be him in Sequence and will so kindly share my tiny little bed. Surprisingly I usually sleep better when he is here even if I do get like a foot of bed. Weird! But, back to the Sequence, he is up 4-3 on our game count. AND...NONE of my nurses or N.A.'s have even heard of Sequence, which I find ridiculous. If you haven't played it, buy it, it's fun.

I wanted to share some pics of JoJo in her latest hat I made her. It is my favorite one those far.
JoJo is such a cutie:) On her mommy day!

I think Uncle Owen wants a hat too! My baby brother came to visit=]
Have a wonderful day and Count your blessings.

Inspiration & Motivation

I just wanted to share some great verses and passages that seem to be getting me through the days.

'Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.'
Philippians 4:6

'...you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other's faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourself with love, which binds us all together in perfect in harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful."
Colossians 4:12-15

'For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory vastly outweighs them and will last forever!'
2 Corinthians 4:17

'So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today.'
Matthew 6:34

This week has seem to fly by. Although I seen the girls Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday=) But, tonight just seems to be one of those nights. I am missing home; my bed, my food, my car, my family. I miss being a mom to all of my kids. I don't want sympathy at all, more or less, I just want to say it. Because if I say it then I get it out there and don't take it out on any of the wrong people(Jess). [I am calling him Jess, JD, lover-O&O is annoying to type] I am annoyed with the fact that I have to chose between the girls and Gatlyn. I know that the girls are completely fine and are doing well and I am thankful for those who have helped and such. I just want to be able to clean them up, take them to the library, make them food. The little things that I have always taken for granted. I will no longer that is for sure, once I can get back to doing them.

Also, I just want to fast forward these next weeks. I want to know if Gatlyn is going to be fine. I want to know if I am going to be ok. When will his birthday be. Can he make it to 34 weeks? Can I?

I am well aware that all of these questions cannot be answered... like I said I don't expect answers.

Rant over...

My wonderful mother surprised Jess and I by getting the girl's pictures taken with Emily Goodemoot Photography. It was a great surprise considering I was planning on getting family pics done this fall. And that is a little hard with me being in the hospital. Emily did a wonderful job. Captured each of my girl's personalities! I want to share a few with you=)

Aren't they sweet? I may be a little partial but they make life good! I can't wait to add Gatlyn to the mix.

Also--big sister is 39 weeks tomorrow!

Lots of thanks to all who have helped Jess and I out in any way. So I am off on a mission tonight to crochet and read my devotionals to look for some peace for this heart of mine. I might just do some pinning too.

God is Great, Miracles Happen.

top tuesdays.2

big happenings on this top ten tuesday.

ONE: O&O passed his journeymen's test. He was an electrician's apprentice, now he is a journeymen!!! ahhhhhh we are so excited you couldn't even imagine. He passed on his first try, which hasn't happened in their company since his brother passed last year! So next for him is his CDL test (so he can drive semis.) Then after we are settled down from all of our happenings with Gatlyn he can start looking around for some different jobs:) But, I am def. making him wait until this is all over!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I am so excited! btw... i tried to get him to pose with his paper but wouldn't.

TWO: I am 24 weeks. enough said.

THREE: I have pretty much conquered my bow making abilities with crochet! (see picture)

FOUR: Getting better at crocheting... and I LOVE it! I seriously do it for hours and time flies by.
Gatlyn's little hat.
For me a nice headband!
Working on this for niece Ruth.

FIVE: My little ladies came Friday night. It was pure joy and entertainment, as usual. And we watched some pretty nice fireworks outside my window!

SIX: My That's So City sister is now 38 weeks. Which means Stella could come anytime. Although my sister is pretty convinced Stell is going to stay in as long as possible. Which sister is pretty ok with.

SEVEN: I had many visitors this week, which made the majority of the time FLY by.

EIGHT: Am obsessed with these embroidery name things I found on Pinterest. I am probably going to be making them for somebody Christmas gift. who wants one?!

NINE: When JoJo says, "Mom, Mom I have to tell you somethin."

TEN:  The fact that Parenthood starts tonight.

Happy, Happy Tuesday!

can we say 24 weeks?

Yes, yes we have made it to 24 weeks!!!

4 weeks down of bed rest and well...10 weeks to go.
I was really excited to type the first part of that 4 weeks down. 10 weeks is a long time.

Every day and week is so crucial for Gatlyn, so, he can just STAY put!

I have been crocheting like crazy making 3 different hats and a few headbands.

This is my favorite so far!
Actually my husband couldn't believe I made that hat. Which most people would find insulting, but, I find it kinda funny. I love surprising him with hidden talents!haha

We had a little scare early this morning-around 4am. I woke up to get my temperature taken and then I of course had to go the bathroom. It didn't go as usual and I lost some blood. Of course I freaked out and called my nurse back in. But, I was reassured by the doctors and nurses that this is completely normal. Considering I do not have fluid or anything protecting me from my crazy, kicking, jabbing Gatlyn: he can bang me up a little bit internally. So...all is good with Gatlyn and me. He has been doing all of the above all day today.

Today, my little ladies came and we hung out in the Children's area for like a hour! It was a nice way to start the week. ALSO--JESSE PASSED HIS JOURNEYMEN'S TEST! (really really really big deal)

6 days and 3.75 hours until I am 25 weeks:)

nine.nine.twothousandeleven

hello there. I just wanted to share some things that I have been thinking about today...

Being that I pretty much have the TV on 24/7 I have been seeing a lot of 10 year anniversary of 9/11. I was in 7th grade and had a dentist appointment that day. As usual my mother took me and had an errand or 2 to do. Then of course we had to hit up McDonald's for a quick bite to eat. In a McDonald's drive thru is where we found out what had happened to our country. It was all over the radio and everything. I went back to school then and we watched it on TV at school. I don't remember really feeling much because being so young I don't think I really understood what was going on. But, I was afraid for what was to come next. Do you remember where you were at, what you were doing?

Next thing I have been thinking about is being stuck in this bed. Believe me when I say this I know it is for more then a good thing. I have the right to be upset though once in awhile... even the therapist says so. (You have to talk to one when your in here at least once) Today is one of the days where I am ready to be a mom to all 3 of my kids! I want to be able to pick up after them and complain about their messes;) I'm sick of not being able to do anything for myself. I spilled a cup of water today and couldn't do anything about it. Ok... enough ranting from me.

Last night, O&O stayed with me. I didn't sleep the best, but I felt like it was when we were first dating. I know so weird, but I got those same butterflies when he came into the room and couldn't stop smiling. Yes, I just seen him Monday so it was only 2 days. Being with him makes me feel comfortable and like it is all going to be fine. (which i am sure it will be) - The only thing better than last night will be tonight! My little ladies will be visiting! I haven't seen them since Monday! I believe that is the longest I have gone without them. For any of you who know me, you know that I am a complete hands on mom. My girls are ALWAYS with me. Rarely do I leave them. So this has been a hard week.

Tonight's agenda will consist of probably a walk down to the children's center. Dinner, snacks, ice cream?, and fireworks. I have been told I will have the best view for the Celebration on the Grand fireworks. Which is very exciting because JoJo already said they would be pretty. So maybe some cuddle time with my girlies will fix this little blue spell I am under.

Now for a little motivational verse my sister sent me and which I have read multiple times the last couple days.

Matthew 6:34 'So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring it's own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today.'

you should read Matthew 6 if you have the time:)

top 10 tuesdays.1

So I have a few minutes on my hand during the day and decided to join up with the Tuesday {Ten}. Basically I take some time each Tuesday to let you know what makes me happy, thankful, or gets me thinking. So today is my top 10 tuesday.1:

1. Today this picture makes me laugh every time I look at it; My sweet but definitely not innocent ladies.
What cheezy girls...FYI they were camping so being dirty was the only option.

2. currently love crocheting these cute headbands.
3. I am very thankful for all the love and support that we have been shown the last 22 days!

4. Although I am not outside I can just see that fall is coming! I love fall and everything that comes with it. I will be working on the girl's halloween costumes soon. A cupcake and a lion!

5. This is so true and lately I am just a sap for words!haha

6. This makes me smile. But we all know that we have to let it go once in awhile.

7. I don't know anyone who can eat more cookie dough than this girl! This one is egg free.

8. I really want to do this. You put 12 months worth of prepaid date nights in envelopes as a unique gift. Favorite date night for me is just going out to eat and maybe picking up a few new shirts...nothing fancy here.

9. My niece and nephew make me smile too. I love getting pictures from my sisters of the latest faces and looks those two can pull off.

And finally #10 this week would be the pure fact that God has given Gatlyn another week with mommy. 23 weeks is just a blessing.
